Standardised ringing
We reached 2 degree today, but wind was perfect for ringing, with the nets not even bobbing. We head to Ässön and finished the setting up of 22 nets at 06.05. There were thrushes of all kind migrating over us. We got a sample of songthrush who answered to Fieldfare tape and fall into the elevator net in the first round. Siskins continued in great numbers, also answering the siskin tape. We were pleased to have a beautiful Jay in the forest nets. Detailed list here:
