Standardised ringing

Ringing took place at Vallen. I am pleased to announce a record for this low season with a total of 83 birds. A noticeable increased in the captures of bearded tit today and the presence now the GRW in our number also helped. However, we still have breeding females with brood patch. Detailed list bellow:

Cranes

A not than amusing number of crane were “counted” today at Husön. None individual of the species was found in the counting place.

Maintenance

The string of the elevator net got fixed today. We have now the ringing arena at Ässön ready for tomorrow!
