We have been ringing in Vall today, 35 new ringed birds and 26 recaptures.
A female Common Rosefinch was the highlight.

We have been ringing in BVal today, 22 new ringed birds and 10 recaptures.
One Italian recovery of a Sedge warbler and a couple of Goldfinch were the highlights of today. We had to close the nets early because of the rain.

We have had a foreign recapture of a reed warbler from Paris.

We had a slow day in BVall, 15 new rings and 12 recaptures.
Also, we had our first Scarlet Rosefinch and a juvenile treecreeper.

Between the recaptures we have caught a reed warbler 9 years old.

Our first day of ringing ended with 33 new ringed birds and 18 retraps.

Today we have done the 7th round of the wetland census, in which the highlight has been the large number of black-headed gull chinks that we have count in Sörbysjön.

We have gone to the fields close to Odensbacken, not feeding activities yet.

Weather:Projects: ORTOLAN BUNTING
Today we saw our first fletched chicks going around, away from the nest, the parents are still feeding. We are hoping that the weather conditions will be better the next days, for their first flies.

Projects: OBSERVATIONS AND RINGING
We found a hole at some trees close to our house, it was a Dendrocopos major nest, and we ringed one chick.
